Watercolor – a technique of the end of 18th century and the beginning of 19th century. It is unstable to the external environment and therefore requires to be mounted in order to keep better the painting. The composition of the paint is pigment and binder. The binder is gum arabic, a glutinous substance that forms on a tree trunks in summer.

This technique requires great accuracy and cannot be re-written. It is performed on a special watercolor paper. I use this technique when I paint portrait, landscape, still-life paintings, urban landscape.
